Delicious Blackberry Flatbread from Breaking Bread with Dawn

Fresh and Simple Ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 flatbread
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 c. Fresh Blackberries
  • 3/4 c. Whole milk ricotta
  • 1/4 c. Finely shredded Italian Cheese Blend
  • 5 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. *Gorgonzola Cheese (forego if you are not a fan)

Spread oil over flatbread

Mash almost all of the blackberries
Spread blackberries across flatbread
Reserve a few blackberries for garnish
Dollop ricotta across the flatbread

Sprinkle with Italian cheese blend

Bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes

Snip basil leaves while flatbread is baking

Sprinkle with Basil and Gorgonzola
