Graduating in May? Have you taken the Civics Exam? Starting Monday during advisory, those graduating in May will be reviewing info & taking the Civics Exam. Students who attend ASU-Searcy in the mornings need to speak with Mrs. Nesler about an alternate time to take the exam.

Have you ordered your "Dude. Be Nice." shirt? Extra order forms are available in the Main Library. Turn in order forms/money to Mrs. Burks in the Main Library by Wednesday, March 18th.

The deadline to turn in the BPEF Scholarship has been extended to April 1st.

The scholarship deadline for UALR has been extended until April 1st.

Applications for new clubs for the 2020-2021 school year are being accepted now through April 3rd. Applications can be picked up in the Information Station in the Main building (lower left-hand corner). Completed applications must be submitted to the Main Office by April 3rd. Applicants will be notified by May 4th if their club has been approved.

Yearbooks will be given out on April 22nd. You need to check the lists posted by the doors of the main entrance in each building to see if you have purchased a yearbook. If you have not purchased a book, they will be on sale for $60 on the 22nd - yearbooks will be first come first served and will sell out.

Spanish Club has been working on a foreign exchange student outreach. Members have made posters with many of the languages that we have here at Beebe High School. We hope to help students be interested in and aware of other cultures. Look for them and try pronouncing the words at the top in all the languages on the board. The pronunciation guides are included beside each word.

After the morning tardy bell has rung, students do not need to use the entrance by the baseball field. Students will need to enter the main door to enter the building.

When students park their cars in the morning, they are not to sit in their cars, but get out and proceed to the building.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING STUDENTS ON THEIR HOSA COMPETITION RESULTS: Laci Garrett-2nd place Prepared Speaking, Tayler Appleton-3rd Place Extemporaneous Writing, Cole Poindexter-2nd Place Job Seeking Skills, Kadence Goff-top 5 in Job Seeking Skills. • Math tutoring is in N177 on Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri until 4pm

  • Student needing a “Secondary Document” in order to take a written driver’s exam may use a “Certified School Transcript.” These must be certified with a raised seal or they can't be accepted.
  • Students are not to be in their cars, nor are they to be moving their cars during the school day.
  • The District will insure that drinking water is available without charge to all students throughout the school including, but not limited to, in the District’s food service areas. Students are allowed to drink water in class. No outside drinks are allowed except bottled water in clear containers with a screw top lid.
  • Cell phones and smart watches, that allow students to text message on them, are considered an extension on their cell phones. If students are texting on their watches, they will be taken up, along with their phone.
  • Students get 8 absences per semester. An absence is an absence whether the student is sick or has personal business to attend to. Just because a student has kept up with his/her doctors' notes, those appointments will still be counted as an absence. The only instance a conference would be held with the student and his/her parent is if the student experiences an event which requires a succession of days out which would make the student go over his/her 8 days (such as a hospital stay).
  • Students are dismissed only by an intercom announcement at the end of 8th period.
  • Make sure you're aware of the new school policies in the handbook this year, including no outside beverages, dress code, and cell phones. Check out the handbook to get all the detailed information.
