Civil War battle of antietam and william T.Sherman

It was the bloodiest 1 day war and also the turning point for the north. George B.McClellan was the general for the north and the south general war was Robert E.Lee. This battle happened September 17, 1862 at Antietam creel in Maryland. The Union won the battle.
William T.Sherman was for the Union. He was famous for his march from Atlanta through Virginia to get victory for the Union. Sadly William T.Sherman died of old age on February 14, 1891 in New York City, New York
