Adult Martial Arts Nexus Kenpo & Tai Chi Chuan: Experience the thrill of gaining confidence in your self-defense skills. Ages 13 & older. Price packages vary. www.mariettaga.gov

American Sign Language: ASL will allow you to communicate using the third most common language used in the United States. $85 per class for 6-week sessions, stating January 7. www.mariettaga.gov

Badminton: Private & group lessons available. As one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S., learn exercises in footwork, racket position, court awareness, servicing/returning and scoring. Ages 5 & older. www.mariettaga.gov

Brazilian Futsal Soccer: Sessions focus on individual skills as well as technical skills from all aspects of soccer, while emphasizing dribbling, passing and shooting through 1-vs-1 drills. $80.00 for 4 practices per month, instructed by a Brazilian National Fustal team member. Strength and Cardio Fusion Group Fitness: Each class incorporates multiple fitness techniques including: Piloxing, Strength 40/20 & Tabata. Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:00pm. Packages vary. www.mariettaga.gov

F.I.T.T. Orientations: The F.I.T.T. (Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type) principle outlines how to manipulate workouts to get in shape & get better results. Meet with a Recreation Specialist to learn how to use the exercise machines, get a circuit workout plan and ask nationally certified personal trainers for advice. Orientations are FREE. Mid-Winter Break Camp: February 18-22, City of Marietta Residents/$75 for regular hours, 9:00am-4:00pm, $20 extra for extended hours 7:30am-6:00pm. Our camp promotes healthy, active lifestyles for today's youth through organized physical activities & free play. Field trips, guest speakers & snacks are included. Ages 6-12. www.mariettaga.gov

Personal Training: Certified Personal Trainers are ready to be a part of your wellness journey. Custer Park Sports & Fitness Center's diverse trainers specialize in general health & fitness, nutrition, weight loss, Senior Adult strength & conditioning & more. Tumbling: Learn how to perform forward/backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, roundoffs, back handsprings, front handsprings & many more tumbling moves. Ages 6-14. $50/5-week session or $12/class. www.mariettaga.gov
