SATURDAY 24th June
8.30am - 10.30 Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Primary Series introducing Mysore style. Ashtanga Vinyasa class taught in the traditional Mysore-style. Each student will go through the set sequence of postures in the Primary Series with each movement practiced in synchronicity with their own breath. During the class, the teacher will adjust the student where needed in order to help the student go deeper into the asanas.
12.30 - 2.30pm. How to vinyasa and do cool inversions. Emily will give technique and alignment tips on how to progress to postures safely and how to fly in your ashtanga practice.
3.00 - 4.00pm. Pranayama and cleansing techniques. Pranayama are breathing exercises which clear the physical and emotional obstacles in our body to free the breath and so the flow of prana - life energy. Through a regular and sustained practice of pranayama you can supercharge your whole body! If practised regularly the many benefits include removing toxins from the body, aiding digestion, improved concentration and if practised regularly gives a healthy glow to the skin. The session will finish with a guided meditation
