Stephen Curry is a professional basketball player who has won many awards and he's know for who he is. Curry had many struggles while playing basketball in college. Stephen Curry was born on March 14,1988. Curry started to play basketball when he was five years old, following in his dad's footsteps. Curry’s siblings and parents all play sports. It seems to run in the family. Later on, Curry went to Davidson College. Curry played junior basketball in college. In the beginning, Curry struggled while in college basketball. Curry was the shortest and he wasn't gifted to be athlete. Curry wasn't super strong so he had to learn how to man up and practice harder than other kids. Curry always showed up to practice and he pratice like he wanted to play. When Curry played games, he was the best player on the team he played like he wanted to win. After, Curry got Sportsmanship Award in 2011. Next, Curry won the whole season for his team. In Curry’s junior basketball season, Curry set a record holder with 162 3-pointers in 2007- 2008. Afterwards,Curry was noticed for many things like awards and shooting and how he played. In the end, Curry got notice for how good he’s been playing and that’s how his big life started.

Into The Professional World

When Curry went into the professional world, everything change for him, and his life. In fact, Curry is the best player on the warriors for many reasons. For an example, Curry has great move when it’s comes to playing basketball games, Curry leads an early 16-game win streak and was the leading vote-getter for the 2015 All-Star Game. In general, Curry had many awards for many thing like Most Valuable Player in 2015 and 2016 in a row, Curry got a Shorty Award in 2016, also he got NBA Sportsmanship Award in 2011, he got Best Record Breaking Performance ESPY Award in 2016 and he got Best Male Athlete ESPY Award in 2015. Therefore, the way Curry plays he got to play 7 season of basketball because Curry puts lots of effort in ball and how he plays and how good he is. Curry doesn't just play ball he help the community and does so much good for the world.

Currys Life Outside of Basketball

Curry loves helping out the community when ever he can help out. Curry join the children Foundation and Feed The Children, an international hunger relief organization, to deliver boxes of food and personal items to 400 local Oakland families at Beebe Memorial Cathedral. Curry change many life because of his speeches and people got inspired by him. A little thing and make a big difference in someone's life. In general, Curry does a lot of donating to people who needs help and he helps fundraiser. Another fact about Curry, he help the United Nations Foundation's Nothing But Nets campaign, which provides insecticide-treated, live-saving, mosquito nets to people in Africa to prevent malaria. For an example, In 2014 Curry did this fundraiser that involves basketball, so how it works for every three throw Curry makes Curry donate three bed nets for every three-pointer he makes during the season. Even though, Curry is an NBA professional basketball player, Curry is a golfer like his father and Curry setted up a charitable side by hosting the ThanksUSA golf tournament the last three years and the Curry Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament in North Carolina, with his father's help, thank to them they keep change the world. Of the court, Curry isn’t just a basketball player, he's a nice generous man and he does so much good he has so much talent in him, he change lives.
