What I love about Bailey is that every time she is out there she is coaching someone whether it is her teammates or myself. I have learned plenty from Bailey on how to improve as a coach. It has been inspiring to have her on the team. I am appreciative that I can use her as a player reference. I cannot wait to see what she does in the next few years."
  • Words from Coach Barkus, "Bailey is one of the top players to come out of the state of Nebraska in some time. She played at the same club as some of our former standouts, Meg Thacker, Kirsten Smith and Ally Brown, and Bailey will be following in their footsteps as the next generation of greatness. She's been an outstanding leader on both her high school and club teams, and she is working her way back from an injury."
Bailey, "I chose Augustana because after all of the visits and camps that I went on, it was the only place that made me really feel at home. The team was so energetic and hardworking. They all loved Augie, and that seemed to rub off on me. As soon as I got there I realized that it was a place where I would be able to work hard and improve as a player and as a person. It was a small school with small class sizes, while still having a good size surrounding city. The atmosphere of the school was so positive and warm, with a strong focus on academics. Savannah, "There are copious number of reasons why I chose Augustana University. One of the many reasons for choosing this school is because of the strong Pre-Medicine program that they offer. Augustana has an 89% acceptance rate into Medical School, so I believe this would be a great place for me to be. Augustana has a successful soccer program. The soccer team at Augustana was very welcoming and inviting and I felt comfortable as I began to meet the players and the coaching staff.
