Myths

Ares appeared in very few myths, but when he did he was often humiliated or portrayed as a violent, cruel, and cowardice character. Dispite his many flaws, ares was very strong and skilled in battle. One of his most well known myths was his affair with the goddess Aphrodite. When her husband Hephaestus found out he tied the two to a bed and called all the gods to witness to humiliate them. His symbols were a sword and a shield

Discussion statement

Ares was not an influential god but the myths and stories that included him often had a good moral
