Portfolio Nikola Rasic

I have always loved Mickey Mouse and when I learned that I was able to draw him in illustrator, the I took that opportunity. I liked the elements of the color changing his character and how you can see by the definition where he might be looking at. The process led to some frustration but I overcame that and this is my final product.

I got inspired to create this piece with a little bit of comedic value. We had to place the crab in a different setting and I thought that I would add some props to enhance the picture to its full potential.

I love this piece because I got to change the ay of the original. Even though this assignment was to just color in the picture, I felt a sort of freedom in how and what colors I would use throughout the project. I had to do some research on the characters to get some sort of inspiration for the piece.

I made this piece from an original image which looked real. i changed the texture and other details to make it look as if it was painted. I love this piece because i took something so real and plain and I added a mini story to it and details that enhance the creativity of the piece.
