What is the KET exam like?

Key, also known as Key English Test (KET), is the name of the basic level that demonstrates how you can use English for communication in simple situations.

Key, también conocido como Key English Test (KET), es un título de nivel básico que demuestra que puede usar el Inglés para comunicarse en situaciones sencillas.

Las posibles titulaciones haciendo este examen pueden ser: A2 ó A1.

  • +50% =A1
  • +70%=A2

The test is divided into three sections:

1. Reading & Writing

  • Time: 70 minutes
  • 50% of the final mark

2. Listening

  • Time: 30 minutes
  • 25% of the final mark

3. Speaking

  • Time: 8-10 minutes
  • 25% of the final mark

What is the PET exam like?

PET or Preliminary English Test is the name for the intermediate level test which demonstrates your ability to communicate in English in day to day situations.

PET o Preliminary English Test te permite demostrar que eres capaz de comunicarte en inglés en situaciones prácticas del día a día.

Las posibles titulaciones haciendo este examen pueden ser: A2 ó B1.

  • +50% =A2
  • +70%=B1

The test is divided into three sections:

  • 50% of the final mark

2.- Listening

  • Time: 30 minutes
  • 25% of the final mark

3. Speaking

  • 12 minutes
