April in Kidspoint Lifepoint Spotsylvania

"Hi" From Your KP Director

Hello Kidspoint FUN Experts!

I hope you had a blast pointing kids to Jesus & partnering with parents in March! We had the honor to add to our family of FUN EXPERTS! Join me in helping these new FUN EXPERTS feel right at home! Welcome Christina Fox, Kathy Prescott, Valerine Valdez, Andrezza Wright, Christina Milson, & Jasmonae Hall.

We are just a few short weeks away from Easter at Lifepoint and I am expectant for God to move in a mighty way. Our campus is preparing for 2500 people to experience Easter with us at Lifepoint Spotsylvania. This means we have the opportunity to point over 600 kids to Jesus! How do we prepare for 600 kids? I am glad YOU asked!

  1. SIGN UP to be a part of this movement! In expecting 600 kids, this is unlike any Sunday or Holiday we have ever had at our campus and we are going to need all hands on deck to create a SAFE, FUN, SIGNIFICANT, & RELATIONAL experience for these kids & their families. -- Pick two services to serve! Let your Coach or Team Leader know today! If you will be out of town, WE WILL MISS YOU, please also communicate that to your leaders!
  2. BRING someone with you on Easter! I want to encourage you to close your eyes and think about the people you encounter every single day who are far from God. Your invitation and your willingness to BRING them on Easter can and will matter in their eternity. Visit www.lifepoint.org/Easter for invite tools to share!
  3. PRAY ! Nothing of significance happens apart from PRAYER and your prayers could move someone's mountain. Pray for Pastor Daniel as he prepares to bring God's life changing message over multiple services. Pray for our Staff & volunteer leaders. Pray for our volunteers. Pray for the guests, the names we do not even know yet, who will walk through our campus. Pray for every details - the logistics, the schedules, etc. -- Be BOLD!

I love YOU and I am sooooo honored to serve as YOUR Kidspoint Director. If there is anything that I can do to better serve you, please do not hesistate to let me know.

Heart & Soul - Lauren Tinnell

P.s - KEEP SCROLLING DOWN ---------> there is MORE!

Last month we focused on our number one Kidspoint win of SAFETY. We spent time talking through check-in & check-out procedures, always having two volunteers and how keeping a clean environment creates a safe place for kids to experience Jesus. THANK YOU for being intentional about SAFETY. Should you have ANY questions or concerns about safety in Kidspoint, please share with me!

This month's focus is RELATIONAL. We define relational in Kidspoint this way: a child won’t care what you know until they know that you care. For this reason, we value building relationships with kids and their families so that we can make a greater impact in their lives. We also call this LEADING SMALL. What this video below about what it looks like to be a Lead Small leader in Kidspoint!

What can you do this Month to be focus on Leading Small with your small group, kids in your room and even the parents who trust us with their kiddos each week. Whatever you do this month, chose to do something SMALL that will have a BIG impact!
