"Healthy Living"

A. Roberts, R. Johnson, A. Bailey, D. Bellinger, and C. Brown

Each month the High School hosts a "Monthly Life Skills" day emphasizing subjects such as the importance of healthy living. Our very own Health Science and Sports Medicine students stepped up and presented to their peers. Specific topics taught included pulse rate, blood pressure, proper hand washing, healthy eating, exercising, and other areas of overall health and wellness. They did an excellent job!

On Tuesday students wore Camouflage to bring awareness to "invisible" disabilities. On Wednesday students wore Tie-Dyed clothing to symbolize the inclusion of many different colors/people. On Thursday students wore Black to show Zero Tolerance for discrimination of any form and on Friday students wore Blue to show that everyone can be included in school spirit.
