Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

The Lower School Library celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with special stories, activities, and tongue-twister challenges!

And to think that i saw it at brimmer and may!

Kindergarten and first grade students were read And to Think that I Saw it on Mulberry Street by Dr. Seuss. In the story, a boy turns an ordinary sight into something extraordinary. The students then turned something they always see at Brimmer into something magical and new.

Terrible tongue twisters

Third grade students took on the Dr. Seuss Oh Say Can You Say? tongue twister challenge. They each read a page of the book aloud as fast as they could.

Fourth Graders enjoyed reading fantasy books for their Genre of the Month unit.

Research

Fifth grade began research for their capstone project, which is focused on a person or event from the 13th through 18th centuries that displayed strength of character.
