Ms. Independent Mornings with a 5 Year Old

It's hard watching your kids grow up to become less dependent on you, but then on the other hand, it's a really invigorating feeling when they can do things independently for themselves.

She can get her own plates down, even if it means climbing on the counter to do so.
She couldn't let the big lump of Nutella just go to the toast.
Carrying her stool is a bit more complicated with messy hands.
Of course, you have to dance before you wash your face because you see your reflection.
Checking the reflection to make sure she got all.
