Kindergarten Registration

Children born in 2012 and 2013 are eligible to register in our Kindergarten programs this year. We offer dynamic programs in both English and French. Please visit our school on Monday Jan. 23 between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm to register your child with us.

Registration Requirements for September 2017 Registrations:

  • Proof of Child's Age (birth certificate or passport)
  • Kindergarten Year 1 (formally Junior Kindergarten): Born in 2013
  • Kindergarten Year 2 (formally Senior Kindergarten): Born in 2012
  • Proof of Residence (document with physical address on it – driver's license, utility bill, etc.)
  • Emergency Contact Information
  • Court Documents for Custody/Access (if applicable)

Please note that this registration is for students who are entering school for the first time. Students who are already in Year 1 of our current Kindergarten program will automatically be registered for Year 2.

JK-3 Christmas Concert

December saw three seperate Christmas-themed concerts at our school. Our Primary division put on an absolutely adorable Christmas concert this year. Stafff, family members and guests were treated to wonderfully prepared performances and judging by the smiles, applause and comments from the audience, it was a great treat for all.

Mrs. Goulet/Mrs. Gemmell's Primary Class performed the Reindeer Hokey Pokey.
Mme. Cheff, Mme. Charlebois and Mme. Sylvestre's classes sang three songs.
Mrs. Laroque's Gr. 3 Music/Dance class performed wonderfully!

Though everyone had wonderful performances, this ELKP class certainly stole the show! Accompanied by Mr. Martin, this group of future rock stars sure know how to move!

Gr. 4-8 Christmas Concert

Our Gr. 4-8 Christmas concert showcased our Music program with many of the classes performing pieces using various instruments. We also had students read essays, dance in different groups and sing! We really have a lot of talent to be proud of!

Two of our high school students put on a weekly dance workshop and the result was this performance! Well done, Kristen and Emma!

Mr. Henderson's Boys' Volleball team stunned the crowd with this performance of "Beiber"!

Christmas Recital, 2016

Our final concert evening featured many of our talented students who have a passion for Music and have committed their own time to practicing during nutrition breaks, their own time and/or during private lessons. Our Cochrane Public School Band, under the direction of Ms. Christa Cassivi, who leads our Music program, was also featured during this particular concert.

Visit to the Senior's Home

Mme. Demers and Mme. Charron's ELKP class visited the Senior's Home to deliver some Christmas cheer and sing some Christmas songs.

Gr. 7/8 Math Projects

Mr. Stawarek's Gr. 7/8 students' final project in a Math unit involved creating a town using various geometric shapes.

ESCHS students create Christmas books for our students

ESCHS students Camryn Chatelain and Lateesha Rossi created French Christmas stories for one of our ELKP classes. They read their stories and then shared cookies and colouring with the students.

HAT DAY

Our Gr. 7 and 8 Sports teams often think of fun and innovative ways to fundraise for sports events. One such event was a hat day held in early December.

Family Members Invited in

Mme. Demer's and Mme. Charron invited family members into their classroom for a visit before Christmas.

Dress like a Christmas Character Day

We had many theme days the last week of school. Here is a pic of our "Dress Like a Christmas Character" Day. We even had a Santa show up!
