A Web browser is used to browsed the web to find websites
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Microsoft internet explorer was released in 1995 by a company called Microsoft which create products like Xbox original, Xbox 360 and Xbox one which can access this web browser
People now don't use internet explorer because its a bit slow compared to the other browsers
Google Chrome
Google Chrome was released in September 2, 2008 and was created by a company called Google
Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, IOS, can access google chrome
Mozila Firefox
Mozilla released a web browser called firefox in September 23, 2002
The devices that can access this web browser are windows, mac OS, Linux, Android and IOS devices
SAFARI
Apple Safari was released in January 7, 2003 and was created by the same company who makes iMac, iPhones, iPads, MacBooks they are called apple
The only devices that can access Safari are apple devices such as iMac, iPhones, iPads, MacBooks
Internet can be used by inform, educate, persuade, e-commerce, storage, sharing, and for social interaction.
Websites like Sky News and Buzzed tell the reader whats happening around the around.
Wikipedia and answers.com are used for education so that people who don't know the answers can search it up.
Game and Food adverts such as KFC can persuade the audience to buy their products
Amazon and Ebay are used for people to buy stuff or sell items online
iCloud and onedrive is a online storage where people can save data online
WEBSITE CONVENTIONS
All of the following websites have these convention on there
A logo = A unique and recognisable picture or badge. The audience will recognise this and they will now that they are on the right website.
Blogging = Will allow the audience to write or blog to the company that runs the website.
Banner ads = Adverts for a product maybe fixed to part of the page, a banner can stretch over the whole width of a websites.
Search function = This part of a website allow the user to quickly look for anything on the websites based on a word or phase.
Layout Grid = A website might be laid out in very tidy, straight lines and columns this makes it easy for the audience to view.
Hyperlinks = These can be a selectable object (a word/picture/video) clicking on a hyperlinks will take the audience to another part of the website.
E-Commerce = Used to describe an area of the website that users can buy, sell or trade anything.
Navigation Bar/Menu = This will allow the user to easily find and change between tabs and pages on a websites.
