My CondoSeniors made a special vegetable stew to celebrate Fall returning to Florida STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY ROBERT NEFF

Oct. 12, 2017. Fall has arrived in St Petersburg, Florida. To celebrate the temperature staying below 90 F, they made a special stew.

The list of roasted vegetables is: carrots, onions, zucchini, potatoes, sweet pototates, butternut squash, onions, mushrooms, garlic, and green pepper. The sauce was pumpkin tomatoe with fresh basil, rosemary and thyme. Add chicken stock and water to maintain desired consistency.

My book, Pelican Beakon, earned a silver medal at 2017 Florida Authors and Publishers Association President's Book Award in the short story fiction category. The Pelican Beakon is a newspaper for pelicans, by pelicans, and their one staff human photographer who dreams of being writer. Read more about the Pelican Beakon on its website.
