Just a reminder that our Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday 28th June at 6.30pm in the Jubilee Suite at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, Orford, Jubilee Way, Warrington, WA2 8HE. The AGM is the Annual General Meeting of the club, it is where the committee report on the success and day to day running of the club since the last AGM which was in July 2018.

If you have any resolutions, proposals or submissions to be moved at the AGM, these need to be duly proposed and seconded and submitted to myself in writing. Also during the AGM, the committee for the next 12 months will be elected, if you are interested in becoming a member of the Executive Committee (President, Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary or Treasurer) or a Committee Member, you will need to be proposed and seconded by 2 members of the club. There is a nomination sheet on the noticeboard at Woolston Hub or you can request a nomination form from the Secretary and I will email this across to you. Please note that these nominations need to be with the Secretary before Friday 7th June. If you have any questions about joining the committee please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Prior to the meeting an Agenda and Committee Reports will be available via our club website for you to view from Friday 14th June.

In order to attend the meeting on the 28th June you will need to be a CAT3 member of the club, if you are unsure please get in touch and I can confirm this. If you aren’t a member but want to attend the meeting you will need to get in touch with memberships@swimwarriors.org.uk as soon as possible.

We very much hope to see you on the 28th June to allow you to find out what has been going on in the club over the last 12 months and the plans for the future.
