why college athletes should not be paid

If athletes were paid it would result in the school to make budget cuts which could effect the looks of the University.
When athletes are not paid, the school has enough money to make sure the campus is clean and looking proper.
Without paying athletes the school will be able to keep the books they already have and increase the selection.
Most college athletes receive a scholarship to help pay for school.
college athletes receive all of their equipment for free, costing thousands of dollars. the university pays for all of the equipment.
