ON HOLLOW GROUND NEW SINGLE 'Shut Down' out now!

On Hollow Ground, are a metalcore band based in Leeds who have been fusing genres since their formation in summer 2013. During their time as a band, they have consistently produced material, releasing three EPs, whilst touring the UK vigorously. On Hollow Ground are about to enter new era as they set to release their debut album 'Blood is Blood'.

The band's current venture involves releasing a number of singles throughout 2019. The first release was 'Broken (Point The Finger)'. Which delivered a fresh new sound from the band as it set to mash influences from trap, grime and hardcore with their signature heavy metalcore.

The proceeding single: 'Shut Down' continued to cement the new era of On Hollow Ground as they challenged themselves further to fuse genres. The music video was filmed at their last homecoming show in Leeds.

On Hollow Ground's latest EP 'Constant State' was recorded in 2016 in Leeds by the bands own Ryan Scott, and mixed & mastered by Corey Young (Formerly of Red Seas Fire). Released in 2018, 'Constant State' threw the band into opportunities they had previously wished of being given, proving their worth within the music scene

The track 'Over and Over' from the 'Constant State' EP has proved to be a popular track from the band.

The bands first EP 'Render The Past Redundant' was recorded in 2014 in Leeds, mixed & mastered by Sam Parry. Their ambition was to create music that was combined technicality, aggression and melody.

'Render The Past Redundant' gave the band the ground to stand on, introducing their magnificent and powerful sound to wider audiences.

Previous to the release of the 'Constant State' EP, the band released the single 'No Imperfections' in 2016, which later featured on the EP.

After the release of 'Constant State' and the 'Over and Over' music video, On Hollow Ground proceeded to excel and wow their audience with another music video for an EP track 'No Shade Greener'.

With a hint of 90s pop music video, On Hollow Ground combined this with their heavy sound, bringing a more comical side to the bands persona to the table.

Over the course of five years, On Hollow Ground began playing their hometown of Leeds regularly, and quickly graduated to gigging all around the United Kingdom.

With in excess of 200 shows under the bands belt and show no signs of slowing down, they have a number of shows already scheduled for 2019, including supporting InVisions at their Album Release Show, Pile Up Festival, Kick Up Festival, and a double weekender run with Derange in April.

On Hollow Ground have had the pleasure of performing with the likes of Cabin Boy Jumped Ship, Carcer City, Exist Immortal, Red Seas Fire, Shields, Nexilva, Martyr Defiled, Black Peaks, The Five Hundred, and many more.

On Hollow Ground's performance has always been given huge praise and positive reviews by all who have watched, and it only keeps getting better.

Not only have the band released original content, but in 2017, they also released their own take on 'In The End' by Linking Park
