2019 Law Enforcement Torch Run International Conference

Over 1,300 people gathered from all over the world Sept. 19-21 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center to attend the 2019 Law Enforcement Torch Run International Conference, which Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO) was selected to host. The conference brought together law enforcement and Special Olympics staff from around the globe to share ideas and plan for the future.

In 2018, Colorado Law Enforcement raised more than $1 million for SOCO and more than $60 million was raised worldwide. Thank you to the members of our Conference Planning Committee who worked tirelessly for nearly two years to plan the conference. Take a look at the "Week in Review" video below!

Stephanie has also worked as a Special Education Teacher, in addition to Adam's Camp, Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association, Higher Visions for Education, and the Wayfairing Band.

Stephanie’s goal is to incorporate further leadership opportunities for SOCO athletes and continue to implement our mission through advocacy alongside our wonderful athletes.

What do you love about SOCO? Learning something new every second of everyday!! Our athletes have so much to teach me (and us) about the world, and how to change it for the better it is truly inspiring. Being able to work alongside them to advocate for a more inclusive society and implement the change to do so is everything I could have asked for!
