Hey there! It's been a while since I've reached out and given a detailed update about how things are going out here with ministry at ASU! Where do I start... Since March, there have been a total of 13 students surrender their lives to Christ because of our team! (8 students at San Diego State & 5 students here at ASU) Our team has been fired up to share the Gospel with all of our friends and make it a point to introduce ourselves to people we don't know and share the Gospel with them as well!
God is definitely moving, and we're seeing awesome things happen! There are students who want to become stronger in their faith so they can be used by God to reach their friends with the Gospel. Check out this quote from a student named Bryce.
"God used this trip to change my whole life & now I can use what I've learned to change other people's lives." -Bryce // #Invade2017
For me personally, I've had a consistent group of friends begin coming to church since the start of the school year. Here's a photo of the core group of guys that have been coming around.
L to R: Shy, Nico, Deshawn, Kavon, Allen, Ory, Me
Out of these guys: Nico, Kavon & Allen have yet to make the decision to surrender their lives to Christ and follow Him wholeheartedly. They've been attending Bible studies and have heard the Gospel preached, but there are certain things hanging them up from fully surrendering...
I've grown to love these guys like brothers, and when they're ready I pray that they make the most important decision of their lives... To follow our Lord and Savior Jesus with all of their hearts.
I ask that you pray. Pray for these young men. That their hearts would be softened and they would come to know the truth that they are in need of a Savior. Easter is coming up and it is the perfect time to celebrate new life in Christ because He died so that we could live.
But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. -Isaiah 53:5
I'll send more updates soon, thanks for letting me share briefly what was on my heart.
