May God’s embracing love be with you all in this time of pandemic and crisis.
How are you all?
It has been the 16th week of closing our church due to Covid-19. I know many of you are exhausted from homeschooling and self-quarantining. It has been so easy to experience loneliness and isolation. Also, we still hear the news that breaks our hearts – the injustice is ruining the lives of our neighbors and the sickness of our sisters and brothers in Christ breaks our hearts. We feel that we have lost our normal and do not know what to do or where to go.
I, as a pastor, strongly feel that I should kneel down more at the feet of Jesus Christ in this time, in order to listen to the word of God who makes my heart burn within me. I hope that I can experience God’s presence every day so that I can become encouraged and strengthened to walk this path which seems blurry and invisible.
Thus, I try my best to restore my strong relationship with God through prayer time and devotion. This is because without God’s guidance, I am not able to move forward.
My sisters and brothers, would you continue to pray for me? Can you continue to pray for one another? Can we hold each other’s hands once again so that everyone can stand firm after this storm?
God calls us to pray and listen to Him.
Would you set a time for your own devotion and prayer today? Let’s walk this journey humbly with our God and with our sisters and brothers.
