PASTOR'S LETTER_#12 June 20, 2020

May God’s embracing love be with you all in this time of pandemic and crisis.

How are you all?

It has been the 16th week of closing our church due to Covid-19. I know many of you are exhausted from homeschooling and self-quarantining. It has been so easy to experience loneliness and isolation. Also, we still hear the news that breaks our hearts – the injustice is ruining the lives of our neighbors and the sickness of our sisters and brothers in Christ breaks our hearts. We feel that we have lost our normal and do not know what to do or where to go.

I, as a pastor, strongly feel that I should kneel down more at the feet of Jesus Christ in this time, in order to listen to the word of God who makes my heart burn within me. I hope that I can experience God’s presence every day so that I can become encouraged and strengthened to walk this path which seems blurry and invisible.

Thus, I try my best to restore my strong relationship with God through prayer time and devotion. This is because without God’s guidance, I am not able to move forward.

My sisters and brothers, would you continue to pray for me? Can you continue to pray for one another? Can we hold each other’s hands once again so that everyone can stand firm after this storm?

God calls us to pray and listen to Him.

Would you set a time for your own devotion and prayer today? Let’s walk this journey humbly with our God and with our sisters and brothers.

Your Pastor,

Sean Lee

1. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
2. ZOOM COMMUNION WORSHIP on JULY 5TH at 10AM

We are going to have the ZOOM communion worship on July 5th, the first Sunday of July. The worship link will be available next week. The virtual ZOOM worship will be live streamed via YouTube as well so you can worship both ways. While on ZOOM, if your microphone is on and you make any sounds, your screen could be streamed via YouTube. So please make sure your microphone is off when you join the zoom worship.

3. PEACEFUL PROTEST

We have planned to have the protest this coming Sunday, June 21 (TOMORROW), at 12 noon at the church parking lot (rain or shine). This is our first opportunity to speak up and turn our words into action by standing up for our black brothers and sisters. This is a huge step for all of us to come out and stand up with the signs around the church in order to show what we believe. Please come with your prayerful hearts.

Please wear a mask and gloves and stay socially distanced from others. If you can make signs for this movement, it would be great. Please keep them appropriate and respectful. Children are welcome to participate. If you want to participate or have any questions, please let me know.

4. REOPENING SURVEY

Please take a moment to fill out the reopening survey. It will be a great help for me and GM to prepare for reopening and plan in-person worship services. The leaders and the committee, and I will try our best to create a cleansing and sanitizing plan for the building when we come back to church.

5. PASTOR'S LETTER

The Pastor's Letter will pause for the upcoming three weeks. However, you can still check the announcements and current news of Grace Ministry via Group Me and the announcement email.
