Wearing more protective gear is becoming an ordinary thing now because od the amount of violence that is expected, due to the fear of a potential violent protest.

Protesters are unhappy with the way police have been handling business lately, making and displaying signs like these. The fact of the matter remains that these people are unaware of the job that these men and women do.
Such dissension can turn into a choice. This is a decision that can be seen as disloyal, even if made correctly.

If police officers, paid officials, made a conscious effort to enter the urban schools around them, they would be able to build relationships with the children and change the culture.
