Man's Fashion


Kosovorotka is the main clothing for any occasion of their life. It's popular in Russian culture events and folk festivals.


Rubakha is a traditional shirt in a tunic style from old Slavic times. It has to be long, no cuffs on the sleeves, with a small stand collar.


Telnyashka is a white undershirt horizontally striped in various colors and which may be sleeveless or not. This is an iconic shirt worn by the Russian Navy.

Woman's Fashion


Sarafan is a long, trapezoidal traditional Russian jumper dress worn as Russian folk costume by women or girls.


Poneva is a skirt that women wore on top of a long linen shirt at the beginning of the 20th century.


Stroke is a triditional headdress that completely hides the hair.


Oatmeal and Cereal

Oatmeal and cereal along with milk is pretty popular in Russia.


Pancakes are also a pretty popular breakfast in Russia. People usually have pancakes along with honey, cream or jam.


Similar to the U.S. Eggs are also popular in Russia. And there are different ways they have them(just like U.S.)



Minced meat(beef or beef and pork or chicken) with a piece of white bread, soaked in milk along with an egg.

Beef Stroganoff

Fried chopped meat and onion plus sour cream. It's often cooked in Russian homes.

Kompot and Kissel

A drink that usually goes along with the meals. It's made of season fruits and Barrie's. You can either enjoy it hot or cold. It's very healthy unlike soda.



A red soup that's made with beef cabbage. It's good in winter because it can warm you up. And it can also eat along with meat and potato.

Russian Pancakes

It's mostly in the Moscovian menus. It's made with buckwheat for savoury fillings or white flour for sweet toppings.

Russian Dumplings

Tasty herbs added to the packed meat fillings of lamb, pork or beef. There's also fish and creamy mushrooms as a type of fillers.


Maslenitsa Festival

It's the festival that make the end of winter and the start of spring with the Christian tradition of feasting and merry making before lent. It's seven weeks before Easter. There will be different kinds of activities everyday: making masienutsa doll ps from straws and old clothes, making and eating lots of pancakes etc.

White Night Festival

Because of St. Petersburg's location, the sun never fully set in St.Petersburg between May and mid-June. In fact, you can see the sun on the horizon if you take a walk at midnight.

Victory Day

It's on May 9th and it's a celebration of the end of world war 2. There will be a parade with firework in Moscow's Red Square to demonstrate the strength h of the military. There will be soldiers, tanks, missiles and other military equipment on display on the ground and ai plane fly on top.

He was born on Oftober 7th, 1952. He is the current president of the Russia federation. He was also the president of Russia from 2000 to 2008.

She was born on April 19th, 1987. She is a Russian professional tennis player. She has been ranked world No.1 in singles by the WTA on five separate occasions, for a total of 21 weeks.

Anna Kournikova

She was born on June 7th, 1981. She is a former professional tennis player. Her appearance and celebrity status made her one of the best known tennis star worldwide.

Irian Shayk

She was born on January 6th, 1986. She is a Russian model. She r derived international recognition in 2007. She was also the first Russian model that graced the cover in 2011 and ranks her at NO.8 in the world.


Kishinev Island

Kizhi Island is located at the west north part of Russia. It's about 6km long and 1 km wide. The churches and settlements has been known on this island since 15th century. Also, the open-air museum that's inside of the island contains more than 80 wooden structures.

Lake Ladoga

Lake Ladoga is a freshwater lake located in republic of Karella and Leningrad Oblast in Northwest Russia outside the outskirts of Saint Petersburg. It's the largest lake in Europe and also the 15th largest freshwater lake by area in the world.

Osinovetskiy Light

It's an active lighthouse in Lake Ladoga, in Keningrab Oblast, Russia. It's located on a headland near the southwest corner of the lake near Kokorevo. It marks the west side of the entrance to the southernmost bay of the lake. It's 230 feet which is the eighth tallest "traditional" lighthouse in the world.
