Harpy Eagles are the most powerful birds of prey in the world and are one of the biggest. The harpy eagle is named after a mythological creature which had the face of a woman and the body of a bird.

This incredible bird is just about to capture his isolated pray.

This just shows how amazing these creatures are.

Don't look into its eyes, you will get turned to stone ;-)

The eagles live in The US Canada and Alaska. They also eat rabbits fish and racoons. They have got large hooked beaks. Eagles have excellent eye sight! Their favourite place to build their nests are high up on cliffs or at the top of tall trees. Did you know? There are more than 60 different types of eagles in the world. ^_^
