Multiple View Portraits USING ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

PROJECT OUTLINE

For this Photo Manipulation Project we will be using Adobe Photoshop to Crop, Cut, Copy, Paste, Move, and Add a Drop Shadow Effect to our self portraits. We will start by taking a minimum of 10 PICTURES of our FACES, EMAILING them, and saving them in a FILE labeled "Multiple View Portraits" on our desktop computers. We will then SETUP OUR PHOTOSHOP DOCUMENT. From there we will Drag and Drop each image and start editing.

STEP 1: Take a minimum of 10 Pictures of yourself from the shoulders up. Make sure these pictures capture multiple views/emotions.

STEP 2: Email all 10 Photos to yourself.

STEP 3: Open your Email on your desktop computer and download your 10 photos.

STEP 4: Save All Photos to a file on your DESKTOP labeled "Multiple View Portraits"

STEP 5: Set Up Your Photoshop Document

LAYOUT REQUIREMENTS

STEP 6: Begin to Drag and Drop your images into your Photoshop Document (REMEMBER TO RASTERIZE EACH PHOTO LAYER BEFORE EDITING) COMMAND+Click on Layer > RASTERIZE

USE SELECTION TOOL

SETP 7: Use SELECTION TOOL to choose part of the face you want to keep in your composition.

STEP 8: Add DROP SHADOW by Double Clicking on Layer and Using the Drop Shadow Option.

STEP 9: Delete the remainder of the portrait from that picture. Do this by clicking SELECT>INVERSE>DELETE

STEP 10: Repeat process until you've reached your goal.

STEP 11: Desaturate Image by Clicking on IMAGE>ADJUSTMENTS>DESATURATE

ADD EXTRA EFFECTS IN YOU FILTERS GALLERY (EXTRA CREDIT)
