Rube Goldberg Challenge

The problem statement for ourĀ assignment was: "OKGO is in need of small versions of Rube Goldberg Machines that make/create sounds within each mechanism/step." We worked in groups and each person was responsible for making one step; the entire project needed to be documented in our engineering notebooks.

To start out, the whole group met together and brainstormed ideas. On the second day, we were all separated into different rooms and had to practice our digital communication skills if we needed to talk to any of our group members. We also brought in materials and assembled our parts. On the third day, we brought all of our parts together, constructed the entire machine, tested, and worked out any problems. The final day was dedicated to making sure the machine ran smoothly then presenting it.
