Introduction to Internet of Things (CIS-290)

The Internet of Things technology is infiltrating all areas of business and consumer life. In the business sector IOT is used to handle and manage inventory, hardware monitoring, climate monitoring, facial recognition, and all areas of machine learning. In the public sector IOT is used to control smart homes, cars, and recreation.

Motion Sensor with Notifications

Setup a simple conference room sensor that sends alerts when room is or isn't occupied

This iOT project uses a photo light sensor to send notifications when an area is getting to much light

Monitor Temperature & Humidity

This iOT project user a temp and humidity sensor to monitor temperature and humidity

Remote LED Message Center and Weather Display

This iOT project uses an LED display to send scrolling messages or current Rockford temperature
