Who is this for? This guide is for faculty who wish to deposit a student's assignment to the assessment area.
Step 1: Choose the course you need to deposit an assignment for
On the dashboard in Digication, go to the 'My Courses' area and select the course you need to complete the assessment for.
Step 2: Click on the 'Assessment' tab and click on the student name you wish to deposit evidence for
Remember that orange indicates a submission and blue indicates that the student hasn't deposited anything.
Step 3: See the list of available assessment deposits
Click on 'Step 1' to deposit the assignment
Step 4: Choose the file to deposit
You can either add a file (MS Word, MS Excel, PDF, etc), a media file (video or audio), or even a page of your ePortfolio to deposit.
Step 5: Click on 'Complete and submit'
Make sure that you are depositing the correct file and click on 'Complete and submit.'
Step 6: Confirm your submission
If you see the green bar that indicates 'Completed,' then it means that your submission has been recorded.
BONUS: In case you need to deposit a page of the ePortfolio to the assessment area
Just click on the 'ePortfolio' tab next to 'Upload Files' and select the ePortfolio page you want to deposit from the list of ePortfolios. TIP: Make sure that the content on this page is published before you submit.
BONUS: In case you need to deposit a video file to the assessment area
Click on the 'Add Video' button and upload your file using the dialog box that pops up.
