DIRECTORS STATEMENT:

I stumbled upon an NPR news article in 2010 where a victim becomes their antagonist's savior. I was immediately drawn to the story as it took place in the neighborhood I grew up in and showed a remarkable amount of compassion. It also shed light on the fact that survival can sometimes lead a person to make a decision that goes against their moral compass. This is my creative take on that story. - Aristotle Torres (Writer/Director)
