My visit to the Harn Museum by bobby ford

I chose to visit the Harn Museum because of the positive things that I've heard about it. This was my first time ever visiting an art museum. When I walked in. I was surprised with how quiet and empty it was.

In my opinion, the museum reminded me of a hospital. When I walked in, I was greeted by a lady at a desk and that was the only communication I had throughout the museum. When people spoke it was in quiet, hushed tones. It was also cold, but relaxing.

Although I did not stay long in this section, I enjoyed seeing the Asian ceramics and sculptures. The collection was huge and filled about 3 rooms.

My favorite exhibit was the exhibit of Frida Kahlo and her life. I've recently learned about Frida Kahlo in my art class, so it was really fascinating to get a better understanding of her work.
