Less Sitting, More Moving If proper education does not start at an early age, then physical education will diminish as students advance in life

Students need allotted time to release energy in order to focus on school work and have strength throughout the day.

Excessive time spent in sedentary activities makes students tired when stress needs to be released.

Students prefer to spend time on technology for entertainment as opposed to playing outdoors, resulting in inattentive students and hindered growth.

With added time for physical education, elementary-aged students will be able to release more energy and stay on task throughout the school day.

The school board should be advocates for the additional time to physical education.
