How is the epiphany celebrated in other countries daniel Myles 01/13/17

I picked Mexico as my country. However some of the things are not only celebrated in México but all around Latin America.

The three kings

1This holiday in Latin America is said to be bigger than santa clause. On January 5th children will leave their shoes outside with grass and water for the camels. Then the wise men come and leave gifts. However the holiday is celebrated on January 6th.

Edible wreath

2 This is a very important tradition in Spain and Mexico. It is a fruity bread usually baked with a figure of baby Jesus inside.

Festivals

3 The secular tradition is to have many festivals around the cities. For this reason it might be hard for cars for to get to some streets closed for the festival.

Cross tossing

4 Orthodox Christians celebrate the Epiphany with a cross-throwing ceremony. Apparently they do this to celebrate Jesus' baptism. Then people race to see who can get the cross first.
