Carlos Santana was born in 1947, he grew up listening to his dad play the violin. He was born in Autlan de Navarro, then he moved to Tijuana. At a young age he imitated rock and blues artist.
The Santana Blues Band started in 1966, the band became very popular. In 1969 they went to there first big festival, Woodstock festival.
He is tied into the 8 Themes in World History for his music. He grew up with music and went on to be a great musician. he won 8 Grammy awards, he has a total of 50 albums.
