History of the buffalo Soldiers

The buffalo Soldiers were regiments of all black calvary and infantry.


The soldiers were known as the Buffalo Soldiers due to their curly hair, thick wool coats, and fierce fighting style that resembled buffalo.

They used this fighting style against Indian tribes, whom they fought against.

Some notable battles they fought in include he battle of carrizal, the battle of Bear Valley, and the battle of Fort Tularosa.

The battles

While they fought in many battles, one challenge they could not overcome was discrimination.
