Let's Go For A (Virtual) Drive Visit Santa Clarita Valley Neighborhoods

Let's face it. If we are searching for a home, or researching areas to move to, there are only so many hours in a day and gallons in the tank. During the winter time, available daylight hours are reduced even more.

So, virtually hop onto the roof of a Google Maps car, and let them foot the gas bill while you get an idea of what these neighborhoods of Santa Clarita look like. If you haven't used street view, simply click on the road in the direction you want to travel. Use the arrow keys to look left, right, up and down.

Well that's it. We have traversed some of the neighborhoods of Santa Clarita, and yes, many look similar to each other. (But similar in a good way.) Would you rather have Los Angeles' problem of luxury neighborhoods across the street from poor neighborhoods?

Here's a cool tool that does some of the heavy lifting of animating Google Street View into a mini-movie of the drive between any two points.
