Growth Mindset vs Fixed Mindset

How do you think about your abilities & talents? Were you born with them or do you learn and grow them everyday?

Approaching college academics with a growth mindset is critical for success. Instead of thinking "I am bad at math", reframe to a growth mindset - "Math is challenging. I haven't figured it out yet, but I will".

Try reframing your mindset to conquer your goals with this toolkit!

Set-up for Success

Minimize distractions (Phone, TV, etc.)

Have everything you need (water, snack, supplies, course materials, etc.)

Be comfortable, but not too comfy. Make sure your desk/work space is promotes productivity. The couch/bed can be appealing places to work, but are you productive there?
