Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) is partnering with the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) to offer an Emergency Department (ED) Design Workshop: "Reimagining the ED". What is it?
This is intended to be the first of a series of deep-dive workshops, hosted by FGI with various clinical groups, to inform both Fundamental and Beyond Fundamentals ideas and insights.
This event, facilitated by human-centered design firm DC Design, will assemble select ED clinicians and design professionals, from around the country, to spend a day envisioning and tackling challenges and opportunities at the nexus of clinical operations and supporting infrastructure. Mazzetti+GBA, healthcare engineering and technology consulting firm, is providing coordination and consultation for the event.
The FGI will publish the results in various media, with attribution to the participants.
