Saint Michael is not technically a Saint but rather an angel. In fact, Michael is an Archangel, which means he is the leader of all angels and of the army of God. St. Michael has four important responsibilities: to combat Satan, to lead the faithful to heaven at the time of their death, to be a champion of all Christians and the Church, and to call men from life on earth to their heavenly judgement. In the Epistle of Saint Jude, St. Michael is said to have guard the the tomb of Adam and Eve and competed with Satan over the body of Moses.

Prayer: St. Michael the Archangel, please defend us against evil and protect us. Help those who are in need and always be by our side.
