Advanced Placement classes provide rigorous coursework that can often lead to future tuition savings for students whose AP performance satisfies collegiate institutions requirements.
Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is designed to push students to a higher rigor at an appropriate pace, while providing in class support through AVID classes. The foundation of AVID is to prepare and motivate students for college.
Career and Technical Education courses are designed to provide students with the tools necessary to succeed in postsecondary education and career. Courses emphasize postsecondary and workforce readiness competencies and skills.
Concurrent Enrollment classes concurrently offer college and high school credit to qualifying candidates across multiple disciplines.
The International Baccalaureate Program (IB) is a comprehensive and rigorous two-year curriculum for junior an senior students, which leads to international exams in six subjects and the IB diploma. The aim of the program is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who will help create and better and more peaceful world through through intercultural understanding and respect.
The Liberal Arts and STEM Baccalaureate programs recognize students who demonstrate excellence in specific areas while demonstrating a dedication to overall academic success.
Student Achievement Services provide services in the least restrictive environment for the individual student needs.

CT is on an alternating block schedule which means you have 8 class periods over the course of two days with lunch built into the schedule. 9th grade students must take 7 classes each semester (4 core subjects and 3 electives). School hours are from 8:20am - 3:30pm.
