Weekly Prayer Bread of Hope

Thank you for joining with us in this time of prayer today.

We invite you to join us in prayer over Bread of Hope and our efforts to continue taking the gospel to the unreached Wayuu people in Venezuela and Colombia.

Each week we will post an updated prayer guide for you to be able to follow along with us.

We hope that you are encouraged by this scripture passage as we begin this time of prayer together today.

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God— that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have what we asked of Him."

1 John 5:14-15

  • The first death due to COVID-19 has been reported in La Guajira, Colombia.
  • A lady who lived in Riohacha passed away due to her underlying conditions of diabetes and high blood pressure.
  • This is the second confirmed case in La Guajira state, while the total number of confirmed cases in Colombia, as of April 22nd, is over 4,000.

PRAISE God for His sovereignty that is the source of all hope and peace for His children.

PRAISE God for His promise that He “causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him." Romans 8:28

PRAY that the Wayuu people may find rest and peace in God, and not in their circumstances. That they may be centered in Him during this difficult time.

PRAY for boldness for Wayuu believers to proclaim the Gospel during this crisis.

PRAY for open ears and hearts as Wayuu pastors continue to share the good news of truth in their communities.

A Message from our Brother, Luis Angel Epieyu...

"This whole situation caught us by surprise, but it didn’t surprise God. He is in control. His Word says that many of these things we witness today will happen; and that “heaven and earth shall pass away, but My Words will never pass away”. We need to trust in His promise that He will be with us; we need to remain calm and carry on."

Luis Angel is one of our Sembradores (Church Planters). He joined the program in 2017.

Thank you for joining with us for weekly prayer!

We are praying for you...

that "the PEACE of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
