(Sorry for the lateness of this newsletter. I was waiting to gather pictures from our field trip last week. Thank you for your patience.)

Upcoming Events in 4th GradE

  • 3:10-4:10: PARENT PARCC-APALOOZA in ROOM 207 (Come learn all about the upcoming standardized state testing and how to best support your child.)

Spring Break: Mar. 27-April 3

We are hoping for more of this in March!

(Monday, April 3 is a teacher training/preparation day!)

PARCC English/Spanish language arts testing will occur on April 11, 12, and 13 for literacy. PARCC math testing will occur on April 17, 18, 19, 20.

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CHILD IS RESTED, HEALTHY, AND PRESENT AT SCHOOL ON THESE DATES.

During our field trip to Frontier Park students got to experience life as GOLD RUSH homesteader. We panned for gold, learned the myth of the cottonwood tree, and learned how hard it was to travel as a pioneer.
Ask your child all about The Hope Chest and what they learned through this amazing book!

Honoring positive behavior in 4th grade. Ask your child how many green days they have earned for March's positive behavior movie night (occurring after spring break).

Thanks for all you do and hope to see you soon!
