At the Northern-Most Tip of Taiwan What else but a lighthouse?

It was a bit of a trek to get there, but definitely worth it. The Red-Line MRT to Tamshui was just the beginning. Then we had to locate the correct bus, and finally it was get off at the correct stop. Fortunately, our event-host had been there a few days before to be sure he knew where the stop was. Oh yes, mustn't forget the walk from the bus stop! Fortunately, the lighthouse was easy to see from the highway.

At the time of our visit, July 30, 2013, the lighthouse itself was closed to the public. It has since been opened for visitors. We need to go back for some more pictures.
