Week of Well-being - September 15th - 20th September, 2019

Last week saw the roll out of a new Initiative called ‘Week of Wellness’ focusing on wholeness and wellness within our students, staff and community. The week involved activities around the idea of wellness relating to physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual.

Feedback from the week was so positive that we have already started to plan for next year's roll out of an even fuller and more vibrant 'Week of Wellness' for 2020. Watch this Space!!

Below is a list of activities we ran.

  • Mountain Biking & Road cycling activities.
  • Staff vs Student lunchtime sporting competitions
  • Chapel (focus of social & spiritual well-being)
  • Breakfast at the Gate (fruit & muesli bars)
  • Big breakfasts (Monday & Wednesday)
  • Parents walking group (two days were sadly rained out)
  • Bush walking
  • School and Community Prayer Breakfast
  • Before school Running Club
  • Crossfit targeting boys and dads (with boys mental wellness talk)
