Have you ever scrolled through the channels, or flipped through Netflix recommendations, not finding anything interesting to watch? Maybe you've watched too many reruns of Friends than is healthy, and you need to find a new show?

Lo and behold, this article is here to save you. Here are the top shows, handpicked by teens themselves.

Riverdale (2017)

Riverdale is a mystery/drama following the characters from the old comics Archie. Produced by CW, the new vamped up characters Archie, Betty, Veronica, Cheryl, Jughead and many others are thrown into a homicide, the victim being Cheryl's brother Jason. Secrets, new relationships and baby issues blossom from this town proving Riverdale may not be the sweet and sugary facade it puts up.

13 Reasons Why (2017)

**This show is not for everyone, emotional triggers included** 13 Reasons Why is a book turn series, depicting haunting tale of Hannah Baker. Hannah Baker was relentlessly bullied, and many harmed her which caused her to end her life. Before this though, she made 13 tapes, describing the 13 people who had made her come to this conclusion. Clay, one of Hannah's classmates, unravels the mystery while going through the emotions. From a lawyer case, to exploited secrets, this truly is a shocking but terrifyingly true story that happens to many kids, and helps provide the message of anti-bullying.

(2010-2017)

In Rosewood, 5 teens Aria, Hannah, Spencer, Emily and their leader Alison DiLaurentis are a tight friend group, relying on secrets to keep them closer. One night, Ali mysteriously disappears. Soon after, the remaining girls began to receive horrible texts from 'a', who threatens there very existence. Follow the girls through this exciting journey, unraveling the real identity of 'a'.

A Series of Unfortunate Events (2016)

A Series of Unfortunate Events follows the Baudelaire kids, Violet, Sunny and Klaus after their parents recent demise in a fire. With a hefty fortune left to them by their parents, the bright kids have to endure clueless social workers and police officers, while the kids are being thrown relative to relative as Count Olaf desperately attempts to steal their fortune.

Supernatural (2005-)

I have not personally watched this show, but I'd plan to do so, therefore I included it on this list and used the internet synopsis. This haunting series follows the thrilling yet terrifying journeys of Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers who face an increasingly sinister landscape as they hunt monsters. After losing their mother to a supernatural force, the brothers were raised by their father as soldiers who track mysterious and demonic creatures. Violent memories and relationship-threatening secrets add additional burdens on Sam and Dean as they investigate all things that go bump in the night. As old tricks and tools are rendered useless and friends betray them, the brothers must rely on each other as they encounter new enemies.
