Garnet Sports Update Nov. 28, 2016

Men's Basketball improved to 4-0 after wins over Washington College (Md.) and Misericordia University. The Garnet dropped Washington at home on Tuesday 74-61, winning the Centennial Conference opener. Zack Yonda led the Garnet with 12 in that contest.

The Garnet gave Misericordia its first loss of the season on Sunday, 83-75. Henry Cousineau led the Garnet with 20 points and nine rebounds. Cam Wiley (right) scored 19 in the win. Both Cousineau and Wiley entered the game off the bench, and the Garnet out-scored Misericordia's bench 41-7.

Women's Swimming squared off with defending Centennial Champion Ursinus College on Tuesday but fell for the first time this season. Liz Staton won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:10.55.

Men's Swimming knocked off the Ursinus College Bears 137-125 to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Andrew Steele (right) won three events: the 50- and 100-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly. Liam Fitzstevens won a pair of individual events, taking the 200 IM and the 200 backstroke.

Women's Basketball earned a win in the Centennial Conference opener, topping Washington College (Md.) 77-70.

Freshman Lindsay O'Sullivan led the Garnet with 16 points. Maggie O'Neil (left) and Melanie Ackerman each scored 14 points.
