This is one of my classmates who will be assigned to a Creative Access Nation. She used to be a Muslim and supposed to be a next Imam (head of the Muslim in their community). One day she was pushed by her Imam Professor to cast out a demon to the body of her classmate.
As she went to her classmate, the word that slip in her mouth was “In Jesus Name come out!” then immediately the demon depart from the body. During that time she doesn’t have any idea about Jesus. Then a thought came in to her head saying that “I am the Way, the Truth and the Light”. She searched the name of Jesus in the internet and asked her auntie who is already Christian. That was the start of her journey with Christ. She left everything to follow Jesus.
Despite of the persecution that she is facing she said, “ Only by God’s grace I was able to be here and standing with you all”. Please continue to pray for her and God’s ministry to her nation.
Meet the youngest and eldest classmates in our batch. Ms. Elsa a 55 years old from Pampanga and Elias, 20 years old from Sweden.
Ms. Elsa is so passionate in reaching out the young people with the gospel. In fact, she committed her lifetime in the ministry. Her age is never been a hindrance for her to continue to advance God's Kingdom and witness life being changed by the gospel. We are blessed to walk with her in this journey.
Elias was 19 in our first few weeks of our class then he celebrated his 20th birthday with us last February. This passionate young man will start a Campus Ministry in his nation in Sweden. Hearing his plan and contextualizing our materials in their nation, indeed the future looks bright. He can able to reach thousands of students and raise leaders in his nation.
Lastly, here's Peter and her wife Candice. We are blessed to witness God's promise came to pass with generational blessing. Sharing with you his testimony who's been a result from the obedience of his ancestor in 1900's who first preached the gospel in Africa.
"I was blessed to be born and raised in a Christian family. As a fourth generation Christian, I’ve been privileged to experience the blessing promised in Psalm 112, I’m quoting verses 1 & 2 "Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed”.
The Lord has called me as a campus missionary in a full time capacity, one big factor that has led me to where I am is because of the lives my parents and their ancestors lived in obedience to God’s word.
Now as a father of three beautiful children, my wife and I know its our responsibility to pass this blessing on our children’s children; by fearing the Lord and taking delight in His commandments." - Peter Isaac (2017)
Peter was awarded with "Relational Unity" in our batch. He will be assigned in Dubai together with his family to make disciples of the young people.
