Good afternoon,

What another, incredibly busy, fantastic week! Attendance remains at 96% overall with this week at 96.6%. Today we have seen the highest absence this week with 32 children off, can we encourage high attendance even on a Friday? Punctuality again remains a concern so we are re-introducing our punctuality incentive that for everyone who arrives on time they will recieve free toast.

Smartie Pants awards were given last week for a common theme of children’s positive attitudes and hard work during assessment week. This really does make myself and the whole staff incredibly proud.

For anyone working on learning their Timestables we have found these brilliant pencils available in Asda, 50p for 3!

Lots of parents have been in this week with some really positive comments and some with some suggestions for us to consider. Can I please remind people we really do value your feedback so please do come in and use our compliments and ideas jars in reception.

Don’t forget our Christingle workshop on Wednesday at 2pm. Come and make christingles with your children before we have a whole school assembly to celebrate the start of the Christmas period.
