A pair of late three-pointers by Jonathan Lawton helped Florida Southern College men's basketball pick up its biggest win of the season in an 87-82 victory of fifth-ranked Nova Southeastern on Saturday evening at Streamline Sale Arena at Jenkins Field House. A 49-point showing in the second half helped propel Florida Southern College men's basketball past Tampa, 88-71, in Sunshine State Conference action on Wednesday night at the Bob Martinez Center. Thomas Spinelli pitched 3.1 scoreless innings in relief and Leo Rodriguez picked up his second-straight save as Florida Southern College baseball overcame an early two-run deficit to defeat West Florida, 6-5, on Sunday afternoon at Jim Spooner Field. A rainy, cold afternoon set the tone on Friday as the Florida Southern College men's tennis team dropped its season-opener 5-2 to No. 6 Flagler.
